For everyone interested in reading this Beautiful work from Dad, I have decided to put it in this website.  I think Dad had all these stories collected both in paper form and in his memory for a long time, with the intention of sharing them with us.  A lot of the stories in the book came from vistits to Clem, and took place in the parlor at the family home. Some of us can remember the parlor very well and most not so much.  I remember it very well. I slept in that parlor on the old blue sofa, that we used in our home afer returing from Germany. What we do have left is some items from the parlor. Christine has the old mantle clock.  I have the copper statue of the cowboy on his horse.  While staying with Grandpa and Grandma for a couple of weeks in 1951, I wanted to play with the horse.  Grandma told me I had to ask Grandpa.  I did so when he came home and he advised me it was not a toy.  I could not play with it but some day when I grew up I could have it.  Years later white visiting Grandma in her rooms at our house she picked up the horse and handed it to me saying "it is time for you to have it". I keep it in a prominant palace wher I can see it daily.  It is easy for me to visualize the parlor and imagine the goings on there.  I hope you can visualize them also.

I will be putting up the book in installments.  I hope everyone can take a few minutes a week to see the new story.  The Table Of Contents is below.  If there  is a line beneath the subject it is ready to view.  Ray
